Overview:

Hydro protocol is Korean based project funded and adviced by Injective labs. They are working on a couple of products, one of them is LSD (Liquid staking derivate), that will allow people stake their INJ and receive hINJ, that will be usable further in the defi ecosystem. There is already working product, launched on testnet. Team plans to switch to mainnet once they perfrom public sale (mid January 24) - this will be done via Injective native launchpad - Mito finance.

This opportunity we consider mainly as a bet on growth of Injective ecosystem, that is currently booming. INJ itself grew almost 1,000% from this years lows, giving us early vibes of Terra ecosystem - which a lot of the team members of Hydro protocol are coming from. The target market cap of INJ to be staked via Hydro is over 1,3 billion USD.

Token utility will be to share 30% of generated revenues with token stakers and 70% will be used for token byubacks and burn.

Team plans to launch token on TOP5 centralised exchange - this exchange is likely to invest into the project as well. Amongst other investors, there are couple of notable investors being finalised at the moment. Round is to be finished by end of this month, there are 2/3 filled.

Positives:

• Token utility is to share revenue created by the platform with token holders/stakers
• Huge target market - INJ mcap is 1,3billion USD, valuation of hydro is 15m USD
• Already working product launched on testnet
• Quantstamp just finished their audit
• Close to TGE, public round will be valued at 2x from our seed price, there will be no other rounds (private)
• Quite favorable token vestings

Negatives:

• Risk of Injective ecosystem not picking up
• Quite easy product to develop, there can be competiton coming - but Hydro team got support of Injective labs
• Similar protocols like this on different chains do not have way bigger valuations than is current valuation of this protocol
• Risk of token being flagged as a security by the SEC
